Innovation is the core concept of new exhibits at the Washington County Museum. Leading off will be Technology Innovation in Washington County showcasing the extraordinary infusion of invention and knowledge that made high tech a powerhouse in this region. After exploring some of the key innovations, the exhibit challenges visitors to think about Washington County’s future—and their own.
These exhibits will show how nurturing and supporting the creative spark of individuals and groups can lead to invention and innovation. Examples from a variety of settings will demonstrate that practical
know-how, the catalyst that turns creativity into innovation, that has long been a deeply held value in Washington County.
