summary
The Visitor Contact Station at the Dillingham Airport is a collaborative project of Togiak National Wildlife Refuge and the Alaska State Division of Parks and Outdoor Recreation. The interpretive plan includes recommendations for content, interpretive methods, and look and feel of the exhibits. A narrative walkthrough, written from the viewpoint of the visitor, describes potential interpretive experiences. The interpretive plan serves as a guidepost and reference for further planning to be accomplished during the design phase. The plan includes more exhibit ideas than will be realizable in the Visitor Contact Station’s 600-square-foot exhibit space.
